1. Program Overview
The "Refer and Earn" program is a referral initiative by Global Select Education and Migration, offering rewards to individuals ("Referrers") who refer eligible candidates ("Referrals") for study or migration services provided by us.
2. Eligibility
- Referrers must be 18 years or older and legally residing in Australia.
- Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Global Select are not eligible for monetary rewards, unless explicitly authorised.
- Referrals must be first-time clients and not previously registered with Global Select.
3. How It Works
Referrers must submit accurate information through the official referral form located on our website.
A referral is considered "successful" when the referred person either:
- Enrolls in a course with Confirmation of Enrollment (CoE), or
- Secures a visa through services provided by Global Select.
4. Referral Rewards
Referrers are eligible for:
- AUD $50 per successful referral.
- Bonus gifts (e.g., Gift hampers, branded merchandise) after 5 successful referrals.
- AUD $1000 spot bonus after 10 successful referrals.
Rewards are processed within 30 daysof confirmation that the referral met success criteria. Payment is made via bank transfer or e-wallet, based on the Referrer's preference.
When rewards are paid
- If visa: when the visa application is lodged; referrers receive confirmation when payment is due or paid.
- If student: when the student completes 7 weeks of study; referrers receive confirmation when payment is due or paid.
5. Program Rules
- There is no limit on the number of referrals you can make.
- Multiple referrers cannot claim credit for the same referral.
- Fraudulent or duplicate entries will be disqualified.
- Global Select reserves the right to disqualify participants suspected of violating these terms.
6. Data Protection & Consent
- By submitting a referral, you confirm that you have the referral's consent to share their contact details.
- All personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Data may be used to communicate updates regarding this program or future offers.
7. Program Modifications
Global Select reserves the right to change, suspend, or terminate the program at any time without prior notice. In case of disputes, decisions made by Global Select will be final.
8. Limitation of Liability
Global Select shall not be liable for any technical issues, lost submissions, or damages arising from participation in the program. Referrers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Select from any claims arising from their participation or the referrals submitted.

10. Tax Compliance & ABN Requirement
- Referrers who cumulatively earn more than AUD $500 in referral rewards during a financial year must provide a valid Australian Business Number (ABN) in order to continue receiving cash payments.
- If an ABN is not provided: Global Select may be legally required to withhold tax at the top marginal rate (currently 47%) from any amounts payable above the AUD $500 threshold, in accordance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) guidelines.
- Alternatively, rewards above the threshold may be issued as non-cash benefits (e.g., gift hampers or merchandise) at the discretion of Global Select.
- It is the referrer's responsibility to determine any personal tax obligations and to report income received through this program to the ATO as required.
- Global Select does not provide tax advice and recommends consulting with a registered tax advisor if uncertain about obligations.
